Fanfic pet peeve

twasadarkOkay, I'm reading yet ANOTHER fanfic where Sam and Dean are driving around in the Impala with no destination in mind. They're just driving. Um ... with gas at $3.50 a gallon and the frickin' Impala, (which probably gets 2 miles per gallon) I don't think it's realistic for them to just drive around aimlessly.
Cause, you know, I demand realism in my shows about demon-hunting hottie brothers.
LOL.
With all the fanfic I read, I probably should have a whole list of pet peeves, but the only other one I can think of right now is anything that's poorly written. Like on ff.net. Which, to be fair, is really only about 95% of the fics.
