Wow, I feel like I've neglected LJ for so long now. What's up with everyone? I've been working and working at freelancing. I have three projects going on that HAD been falling at different times, which made them doable. But then they all started having due dates at the same time and it became not so much fun. Anyhow, I seem to be making a go of this freelancing thing so for that I'm very happy.

Is anyone thinking of going to the Supernatural Creation con up in San Francisco? I'm considering it ... I have a friend up there and I do love visiting San Fran. I may actually have to get a Misha photo opp this time.  We shall see ...

Just a little over a week until we get the boys back!!!!!! YAY!!! I never dreamed we'd have SPN for SIX SEASONS. Life is GOOD.

Deguello by oselle , read by riverbella . A bittersweet, vividly described story set pre-series, and largely John-focused, but featuring the boys as well.  If you're into well-rounded characterization and Hurt!Dean you'll really enjoy this piece.  The whole thing is so smoothly read and lovingly voiced that it's a real pleasure.  I love how riverbella  takes her time reading the narrative, something which many readers hurry along.  A plus work all around!

Gloria by unoshot , read by crinklysolution .  A trilogy of oneshots, interrelated. This is a podbook compilation of the stories In Excelsis, The Mountains in Reply, and Angels We Have Heard.  A clearly read, beautifully paced story with sound effects!  The stories themselves are unique looks at the characters Dean, Sam, and Castiel, and the narration here only enhances the story.  Beautiful work!

The wonderful and talented candle_beck  has a poll about which of her podfics she should record next - her Sherlock Holmes fics or Supernatural fics ... perhaps some of you podfic lovers want to run over there and add your vote to the mix?  I begged very nicely for her to record some of her Sherlock Holmes fics next, but really I'm just happy with whatever she decides to do as long as she's recording, lol.

I went ahead and posted a master fic list to my journal here if anyone's interested. To my surprise I have more than 40 fics! A good number are shorties but still, 40 is a pretty respectable number, I think. It's nothing like ficwriter1966 's 250 though, lol. Anyhow, I see that I've written mainly gen for Supernatural and Max/Alec for Dark Angel. My slash output is measly, however. I'll have to look for inspiration to write more, I guess.

Podfic lovers will be interested to hear that baylorsr has recorded a whole gob of hyacynth 's fics including Mockingbird, which comes out to a whopping 9+ hours! There seems to be some technical difficulties with the zip file of that fic right now, but hopefully it will be resolved soon. Check out the latest two entries to spn_multimedia to find links to the podfics.

I suppose that I should do a master list of my podfics at some point, too, but there are more than a 100 of those. To which I say: HOLY HELL. Anyhow, they're all archived at jinjurly's site and most of them are at my website as well.
