twasadarkOh, wow! I just got back from the LA con and it was a lot of fun!! I loved seeing Jared and Jensen - they are so cute together and so good natured and genuine. I was especially touched about how they both love their families. When asked if they could go anywhere in the world both said they would spend time with their families since they see so little of them. It's such a pleasant surprise to hear of people who so love to spend time with their families, since seeing my own parents has so often been a source of such agony, lol.
I really enjoyed Misha's panel. He seems so dazzled by fandom and by a room full of people come to see him. He said that his friends and family don't watch Supernatural so he doesn't get any kudos, so it's a real lift to see all of us fans loving on him, lol. He has quite the potty mouth, and this after he made a point of mentioning that his godson was in the audience. For this reason, he didn't want to talk about his part on Nip Tuck, apparently. Haha! janglyjewels or am I mistaken? - asked whether he liked the part in 24 when Kiefer Sutherland tackled him and lay his body atop of Misha's. LMAO. Misha said something along the lines of, "What, is this research for your slash fic?" Misha said that it wasn't something that he dwells upon. Plus, Kiefer apparently hurt Misha's neck in the scene. That bastard!!!
Someone else mentioned that she was asking all the panelists the same question: If you had your choice of two roles, one in which you had to be naked and one in which you had to sing a capella, which would you choose. Jensen picked singing, but everyone else, including Jared, apparently picked naked. Misha said he would do both, and then went on to quip that Jensen, Jared, and he like to sit around naked in his trailer. HAHAHAHA
Also, Misha said he found the subculture of fandom fascinating and he'd like to explore it further if he could do so without getting molested. !! A photo opp with him was $50 but I resisted it and instead decided to spend a few bucks on some Sweet Charity auctions. Maybe next time ....
