I had to call in my sister Talitha, who is a huge Cockatiel lover, to see those pics. And she goes "aw" and "ooh" and obviously thinks they're adorable, and says in this very loving voice, "Ugliest little buggers ever!"

My dad breeds cockatiels and I always find the babies amusing as hell when they're in the fugly stage (basically, the whole time they're babies lol).

The babies are so cute! And they aren't as ugly as the baby bird one of my co-workers (from a hundred years ago) had. It was some kind of amazon parrot and it looked like an alien. At least your babies look like birds.... and they do look happy. AWESOME!!!

Thanks! Yeah, the turtle is pretty big. She's much bigger than the male was. He, unfortunately, died last year. I guess that in reptiles the females are bigger than the males, though. Anyhow, she's pretty much been in hibernation for a few months so it's nice to see her out sunning herself. :-)

My black cat loves ripping hunks out of boxes too! it's like his favorite activity besides maybe jumping on my lap and pacing back and forth restlessly XD

Ha! You know, I've had an Amazon.com box sitting on a table for weeks now cause every time I look up one of the cats is asleep or playing in it, and I kinda feel bad throwing away their box. lol
