Oh, wow! Somebody left me a Valentine over at the Valentine's Day Game. Thank you, anonymous person!!!! Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day!
My second gleeful flail is that my first baby cockatiels have started to be hatched!!!!!! I just peeked in the nest box of one of my hens sitting on eggs (I have 4) and saw two tiny little gray chicks!! One didn't appear to be moving, so it may not have made it, but the other was quite alive. The hen is still sitting on two more eggs, so hopefully there will be more chicks soon! I'm so excited!!!!
Also, I am flailing with glee because
fanfic_read_by just posted the podfic of one of my favorite Dark Angel Max/Alec stories - The Hubbert Peak by
musesfool . YAY!!!! It's wonderfully well done, and HOT like burning. Plus, Alec. *slobber slobber*
Saw Friday the 13th and found it to be "boobalicious" which the hubster liked. I really liked Jared in a tight t-shirt. And Jared on a motorbike. And Jared running through the woods. And Jared just basically breathing and lookingconstipated concerned. YUM. Anyhow, I liked the movie okay. It was less dumb than most slasher pics. High praise, huh?
Also, the hubster and I finally watched Transformers this morning. I really liked the first half of the movie, even though the pacing was so frenetic it was like a hamster on speed, but the last half of the movie was excruciatingly long and confusing and I just wanted it to be over. Couldn't the producers have saved about 100 million dollars by making the dang thing shorter? Then it might have actually made sense. But whatever. Shia LeBouf is AWESOME and I say this in a non-lustful way, lol. My daughter used to watch him on that Disney show where he had a sister. He really stood out as amazingly talented (much like Michael J. Fox when he first hit the screen) so I figured I'd see him in the future and I'm so happy he's on the silver screen.
Also, this pic? Priceless:
Love to all!!

Date: 2009-02-16 01:11 am (UTC)My problem with F13? Three naked women, and they couldn't even give us a second of shirtless Jared?

Date: 2009-02-16 07:35 pm (UTC)Shirtless Jared would have been awesome!!! Yeah, the makers of the horror flicks are total sexists. I wonder what a horror movie would look like if it was directed by a woman, written by a woman, etc. Hmmmmm. Intriguing!!!

Date: 2009-02-16 01:40 am (UTC)And I agree about Transformers. It went from "HOLY CRAP!" to "Holy-! wait, nothing's happening. Wait a sec, holy! No, still nothing."

Date: 2009-02-16 07:38 pm (UTC)I hope things are settling down with Mimi. Next time I see you I'll give you a plastic storage box like the ones we use for our cats' litter. The walls are so high that it keeps them from scattering litter all over the place.
Bernard is like a little dog. He follows me all over the place, and comes when I call him. The other cats want nothing to do with him, though. Hopefully that will get better soon because he desperately wants to play with them!
