I'm in love!!

So, a little more than a week ago, justy213 and I went to the South LA Animal Shelter, where she adopted a beautiful little kitty. While we were there, "Bernard" caught my eye. He jumped up and started meowing as soon as we came into the room where he was kept. I went home but couldn't get the little guy out of my mind. Dave said we could get him and still I waffled back and forth.  I mean, holy hell!  I have twenty some birds, 2 cats, 2 dogs, a turtle and a goldfish.  But, of course, in the end I relented.  Here's my little guy:





He's so sweet and affectionate.  He's about 6 months and just 6 lbs.  The vet said he has a little belly already and to watch that I don't feed him too much.  Yeah, we'll see how I do with that.  :-)  Anyhow, his previous owner named him Bernard and I'm going to keep that name. Even though it sounds sort of ridiculous for such a little guy.  LOL

What a pretty little kitty! It would be a shame to ruin that pretty frame of his and overfeed him, though. :P

Aww, thanks! Yeah, I'll have to be good and feed him and my other cats right. It's hard because they are always SO interested in chowing down! Much like their owner, lol.
