[livejournal.com profile] parisindy turned me on to the following very relevant quiz. Don't you feel somewhat comforted by the results?

37%

Brings to mind the time I taught about the Donner Party to my California History class. I made the class watch a detailed video about it. Some of them were none too pleased with me about that. Oh, well. What can I say? I used to read survivors' accounts for FUN.

On somewhat the same subject (friends, anyhow) I managed to inadvertently anger and hurt the feelings of a couple of you this week. Thankfully, the injured parties contacted me and we worked things out, which I really appreciate, but I thought I would break out the puppy picture of DOOM once again to apologize to anyone who I may have hurt in the past or who I may distress in the future:

According to the quiz results, I may have to eat some of you at some point. But, rest assured, I'll feel REALLY bad about it.

Also, remember when I was all excited that one of my mated cockatiel couples (NOTE TO [livejournal.com profile] lunaste - I'm talking about BIRDS, not COCKTAILS) laid some eggs? Well, they turned out to be unfertilized. BUT something has come over the rest of the birds - maybe the warmer weather we've been having here? - and a bunch of them have been very randy lately. So maybe I'll have some chick pics to show you at some point ... :-)

Also - again - I am quite proud of myself for my icon choice. It's the circle of life, you know? *cue demented laughter*

*big hugs to everyone who has to endure my sense of humor*

I also feel out of the loop. But oh well. :-) I'll just pet the cute puppy and be on my merry way. *pets*

35% is a very good showing - nothing at all to be sad about. Perhaps you might carry some seasonings in your purse, just in case. I'm thinking of doing the same myself.

Evidently I'm more cannibalistic than you are.

Exciting about your birds! I had chickens as a little girl, and watching the eggs hatch was absolutely thrilling for me.

Ooooh! So far, YOU are the high scorer! I'll try to look extra scrawny and unappetizing if we ever meet in person. LOL

I think my score was so high because I like rare steak and sushi.

I tried to like sushi when I first moved to southern Cali, but I just ... couldn't. I just want to live on Mexican food, basically. :-)

Living on Mexican food is a perfectly viable plan. I approve.

LOL - a worthy showing, definitely!

I love floppy-eared dogs. I had a basset hound when I was a kid ... he used to trip over his ears when he rounded a corner. :-)

All right! You would be a worthy adversary if we are ever stuck in a starvation situation, lol.

I have to whip out this particular puppy pic on a regular basis. It *speaks* to me.

You'd be safe around me, I got thirteen percent :D (it prolly helped that I'm a part-time vegetarian, don't eat raw meat or stake, can't sick around blood and recently have gone twelve hours without eating xD).

Well it's still funnier to pretend you said cocktails instead of cockatiels ¬¬

(I like that you have a cannibalism tag, as if you blog regularly about this :') )

Hey, not all of us have a strong stomach, I'd be pretty upset if I was shown a vid about that (I felt nauseous when we learned about the USSR and Stalin's food blockage of some of the countries so they had to eat their own families and stuff)

I was rather proud of my cannibalism tag, lol.

Yeah, there were some mumbles about how the Donner Party film was worse than any horror film they'd seen, but probably because it was real. It wasn't gory, but it was tragic. It was kind of interesting that the women survived longer than the men - in fact I think all of the women survived the ordeal. We have more body fat than men, especially around our vital organs, in order to regulate the temp for protection of a pregnancy, I guess.

The USSR's food blockage would probably make me nauseous too. I can read about tragedies that occurred a long time ago fine, but if they are closer, I get pretty upset. I guess they are more REAL to me that way.

Anyhow, 13% is about the lowest yet. I definitely want to hang out with you if our plane ever crashes in the Andes.

Srsly, what is UP with my spelling/English recently? 'can't sick' is 'get sick' and 'stake' is 'steak' of course.
I don't know anybody who would eat a stake.

I can handle stuff like SPN but when it really happened it just hits you at a totally different level.
And that is interesting, I did know that women have more bodyfat, but it being for pregnancy protection makes a lot of sense.

I think I'd rather hang out with you than with some other people who've commented D: I'd probably be the first one to get eaten (or maybe not, I'm skinny but I don't have any muscles at all :D so I wouldn't be tasty)

Now, you need to remember I have Methos, the Survival poster boy as my hero, so...
From: [identity profile] twasadark.livejournal.com
OMG!! You are the reigning master of cannibalism! Nom nom, right?

Oh, Methos. He brings back good memories. He probably would nosh on Duncan if giving the chance, huh? But then, who wouldn't? LOL
