Happy Meme - Day 3

The rules are that for 8 days you have to post something that made you happy that day. Tag 8 people to do the same.
I'm not sure this one will be of interest to anyone other than me, and my birds, but I am happy that I have both the means and the strength to winterize the gazebo which houses my bird cages. I'm in Southern California, so it's not like it gets really cold here, however it's supposed to get down into the 30's at night this week so I worried about finding little birdsicles in the morning, haha. Here's what the inside looked like initially:
And here's what it looks like now that I've put clear plastic sheeting up:
I figure that this will keep a little bit of heat in, and cut out the wind. I also bought an old-style radiator heater and pushed the cages together so that there will be some source of warmth:
By the way, the yellow rope is my husband's addition. Since we get earthquakes here, he put up some rope (it's untied here) to secure the cage in the event of an earthquake. The cage has wheels, so I can imagine if we got a really strong quake the cage might go flying all over the place.
I got the idea for the sheeting and the style of heater from a bird breeder's webpage. Apparently, this style of heater will not ignite feathers, which is good because I would really rather not have BBA'd birdies! :-)
