'Tis "Hawks and Hands". It is very very good. I'm actually interested in the whole thing, even though it's a hockey AU and I HATE sports and don't get hockey at all. Though now I'm going to be convinced it's all angsty locker-room porn, so maybe after this I'll start going to hockey games :D

I can't imagine a power in the universe that could get me to strap knives to the bottom of my feet and run about on a solid sheet of cold, hard, cold ice. And then you add big, angry people with sticks to that situation! Do not want, no matter how many Canadian shows I watch or hockey playing actors I fangirl (Micheal Shanks - SG-1's Daniel, was a very serious hockey player, once upon a time, and only became an actor after an injury ruined his chances of being a professional. Paul Gross did an entire movie about curling, which seems less a sport and more like frozen shuffleboard for OCD neatfreaks.)

But, to each her own, I suppose. At least it doesn't take nearly as long as baseball, and you get to say "zamboni", which either sounds like a sort of pasta or the punchline for a dirty joke.

Baseball. Ugh. My hubby and daughter are insanoid New York Yankees fans. They even went to NYC a few weeks ago so they could see some games in Yankee Stadium since they are building a new one and this is the last season it will be used. Dave unwisely told me that some Yankee haters call them the Skankees. So of course you know how I refer to them now! Haha
