What the heck is it with you and podfics and surprise! two more Sarah Connor Chronicles Podfics

So, you may be wondering ...WTF is up with this twasadark broad?  Does she even HAVE a life or does she spend 23 hours a day recording podfics???  The short answer:  That's correct.  LOL.  The long answer is that I love love love listening to podfics so I figure that by recording them I have a bunch to listen to myself and hopefully will spread the gospel of podfics and inspire others to try their hands at them as well.  I genuinely LIKE doing them, as well.  And I'm getting quite a bit faster at them these days.

Then there is the other reason that I do so many of them, and spend so much time on fandom in general.  It basically keeps me sane.  RL has its share of issues for me and losing myself in fiction and TV has always been one of my main methods of dealing with all the trauma. Plus, my daughter is all grown up and at college now so I have a lot more time.  Time that probably should be spent cleaning the house.  But hey?  That's not nearly as rewarding!! 

I do have other interests.  I have a hubby, 2 dogs who I love to take out on hikes, and a continuous yearning for travel.  In fact, one of the reasons I've been recording so much lately is that Bran and I (daughter) are going on what I hope to be an AMAZING trip this weekend.  Four days near Bishop, CA where we'll be on horseback following wild mustangs and camping out.  I love to camp, and the opportunity to see mustangs in the wild??  We're both in heaven.  Although we'll probably be as sore as hell.

Okay first i am so jealous!!! i love camping!!!
but its to early here its still cool at night, being central canada and all

i got to go to the mountains a few weeks ago and i made a snowman! lol so to early yet i think hehe.

I haven't got the guts to do a pod cast yet.. but i sure the heck love them to pieces.. i listen to them when i'm walking my dog.

i really need to write some more.. i got a new plot bunny so who knows we'll see if i can get something going

Oooh, central Canada! Way cool! We went up through British Columbia a few years ago. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!!! Loved the Canadian people as well.

Yeah, it took me quite a while to get up the guts to podfic as well. And now look at me .... :-)

Yay for plot bunnies!! I need to feed carrots to some of mine as well.

i love bc.. probably road trip there with my two best friends next year... if gas doesn't go up anymore

i was in calgary a few weeks ago then we drove up to Banff and Canmore and such...its probably my fav place in the world. I live in Saskatchewan, most boring place on the planet.

I do love California though! and go as often as i can. we try and do the san diego comic con ever so often and then there is surfing...

i've sort of fallen off the writing wagon though and i need to get back on... i look forward to your podfic.. you are one of the bester out there!

sadly i don't think i will be going to comic con this year
the goal is to go in 2010, i want to go to eyecon in florida this year,
but things are a bit tight at the moment so i will have to see if i can scrap up enough dough. I'm a bit worried if i wait to long the tickets will all be sold

my two friends and i have already planned for vancouver next year.. and we are sort of film people so we might try and so advertising and stuff while we are down there.

so that leaves 2010
