There's a very entertaining article about Supernatural here in which Jensen calls Misha a wimp.  I found the article via [livejournal.com profile] ontd_spnparty  which is a hilarious comm - everyone should be following and contributing cracky manips and other forms of spazzing.

I found the latest ep of the show to be so-so, but that won't keep me from watching it again pretty soon here ... the boys and Misha are SO VERY pretty. Yes, they are.

My sweet, innocent, beautiful, cell-phone-talking-while-she-drives-20-year-old totalled her truck last night. Thank God she's okay and so is the other driver, but I saw pics of the damage to my girl's truck and it's VERY scary.  If she weren't in another state I'd be clinging to her right now.  Anyhow, like so many of us who have crashed cars in our youth, this is a learning experience for her - a painful one.  Sigh.  What's a mom to do?

Have I pimped out our original fiction comm here lately?  I don't believe I have!  Please check out [livejournal.com profile] xcpublishing . [livejournal.com profile] dysonrules prettied up the comm with a beautiful header and everything!  I'm in the process of recording a podfic of my novel Necropolis, and our novel The Gauntlet Thrown is available in regular old print for free.

I have two new cockatiel babies that are little white fuzzballs.  They are so precious!  Hopefully they'll live ... so many of the babies die that it's quite sad. Birds are very fragile, I've discovered.

I love [livejournal.com profile] ontd_spnparty! They have the best gifs EVA! They occasionally make me cranky, but it's mostly harmless fun.

Glad you daughter is still doing okay. Did you get her to sign Oprah's No Phone Zone pledge yet?

It's storming like a mother here. Yikes. Neighboring county is in a Tornado Warning. Time to batten down the hatches.

Ooooh! Scary about the storms! Stay safe and tornado free!!

I'll have to direct her to the No Phone Zone pledge! Although after this experience she claims that she'll be driving like a grandma, lol.

I like my Dean grumpy :P
Thanks for the link!

I'm so glad your daughter is okay! Up here in Canada we've got some pretty strict rules about no cellphones/ texting while driving and I've heard some talk about no eating too (though I think that one's never gonna pass). Some of my friends have had to pay some hefty fines for getting busted, but I figure that's better than paying with your life *shrugs*

Fingers crossed for your baby birdies ♥

LOL! I never really thought of Dean as being grumpy but I suppose he is.

Yeah, most states here have laws against using a cell phone while driving but Arizona isn't there yet. You're a smart girl to keep from doing that. It's very scary!

I sure hope these baby birdies make it. They're so sweet! &hearts

Glad your daughter is okay--so scary!

(I'm going to have to ask you more about birds sometime--my son really wants one--a finch? a budgie?--as a pet--but I've never dealt with them...)

It IS scary, not to mention frustrating because I have very little control. Ah, well, that's what being a parent is all about apparently. She's pretty upset about the whole situation so hopefully she'll become a safer driver because of it.

Birds are very sweet pets, but they can be quite dirty, and I would recommend getting more than one because they are social creatures and go a little mad if it's only them in a cage, lol.

I'm glad you liked the ep! Next week's should be good, but I'm going to be out of town for it so I'll have to wait to watch it. O.O *screams in frustration*

oh man, Misha being scared of horror is kind of adorable

Yikes, re: the car accident. I'm glad she's okay too! After watching the Mythbusters episode where they compare driving while on the phone to driving drunk, I think I am cured of wanting to use my cell while driving.

Oh, wow! I should show her that episode of Mythbusters, although honestly I'm hoping this crash will calm down her driving habits considerably. She's so impatient and drives so fast that she's gotten a boatload of tickets already. Yikes.

Oh, god. I completely understand re the totalling of car - my niece did that a month ago and when I saw the car, despite the fact she was completely okay? I went cold. Multiply that by a billion and I feel your pain. I'm so glad your darling girl was okay. Mine is six - I had a meltdown when she didn't come out of school the other day for ten minutes. I don't know how I am going to cope once she's out there on the road!

Driving is a constant source of worry for us when it comes to our daughter, for sure. We're really hoping that this latest development will put the fear of God into her, though. She claims that she'll drive like a Grandma now but who knows how long that will last?

And awww, I remember age 6! Such a sweet age! Children are such a joy. &hearts

Yay for new babies! I'm birdsitting another cockatiel named Floyd right now and I have a sneaking suspicion that it could become a permanant situation which I don't want since I don't have time for the birds I have.
Yay for podfic and you working your butt off and wheeling and dealing.
Boo for Brandi getting in an accident but glad she is okay.

Awww, Floyd may become your new baby! Hope your birds are doing well. I've sold most of mine - I'm down to 8 of them.

I find it pretty hilarious that Misha is a horror film wimp. The mental image of him hiding between theater seats is great. XD

I'm glad your daughter is all right.

LOL - I know what you mean about Misha being such a horror wimp. It's sort of sweet though. :-)
