Awww, you're so sweet! I'm thrilled to make someone so happy with a little (justly deserved) praise. :-) I'm utterly dumbfounded that your giftee didn't bother to get in touch with you to thank you!! Maybe she or he is out of the country in Afghanistan or something and has no web access ... because otherwise that's pretty unforgivable!

Thanks so much for your kind words about my bajillion podfics, lol. I was pretty horrid when I started out, I must admit. Ah, well, at least I improved some as time went on.

I'm so happy that your fannish self has been restored! Being a fan is so much fun! I'm really looking forward to your next podfic offering. :-)

Thanks. I can imagine that my giftee just lost track of Podbang somehow--the only notification of a gift's arrival was in amplificathon itself. She doesn't seem to have posted on her own LJ since December (at least not publicly) and it's possible that she's had something happen in her life. Hard to say--I just hope she's okay--there was no way for me to inquire without sounding like, "Hey, listen to my podfic! whine whine whine".

And yes, fandom is a great place and I love it here. Especially today. :D Thanks again.
