One of those days ...

... in which I feel like CRAP. Not just regular crap but mondo crap: anxious, depressed, and miserable. Sigh. Being unemployed is getting old, although I hopefully have at least some freelance work coming up soon. Also, you'd think this would be a good time to write, huh? The muse has been gone, my friends, just ... wallowing in the mud with the pigs or something. I am managing to get in at least 150 words per day to meet my mini_nanowrimo commitment, so that's something.

Saw Boondock Saints II the other day. It was so so - pretty much the same as the first movie except with Julie Benz and not as good. Although it did feature the shots of not one but both brothers' naked tushies. I rather liked that part. Also last night we saw 2012, which I found quite forgettable. The special effects were not all that magnificent, which surprised me.

TV-wise, I really enjoyed Supernatural's 5x08 Changing Channels, although I'm not quite sure how I feel about the Gabriel reveal. It ties the Trickster in with the angels and demons storyline but, I don't know, seems too contrived or something. 5x09 was okay but I must say that the fan storylines are getting a little old. I still find Becky hilarious, but overall the episode was kinda weak.

I'm still watching Flash Forward just because the hubby likes it, and we're also still hanging in there with Stargate Universe. I am quite confused by the ending of the last episode, however. It appears to require much too much thought out of us or something because hubby and I just went: huh? Also I still think that Robert Carlyse looks like a meerkat.

Anyhow, on days such as today I find it necessary to go in search of crazy kitteh piccies. Hope someone else will crack a grin at these. In particular, I identify with the last pic, lol.

Ditto about 2012. I went to see it last night too and it wasn't all that. I also agree with you about 05x08-09 although I liked the last ep so much more. In any case, I hope things get better for you. *hugs*
