Here's my non-spoilery response to House 6x01:  Awwwwwwwwww! It was great, and it made me cry.

Also, doesn't my Semi Friends Banner look awesome?? My new friend chocca2 did it for me as a part of the Fall Fandom Free-for-All. Thank you, sweetie!!

Thing the third: I've had some kind of God-awful flu for about a week and a half now. ME NO LIKE. I imagine I'll have to get better soon. Right?  And is it Thursday yet?  Some Supernatural would go a long way toward making me feel better.

I will second the NEEDS MORE WILSON! but I still loved it. Partially because ANDRE! The main doctor guy was one of the leads on Homicide, and generally brilliant and awesome and I love him a lot, even if it was strange to see him suddenly be a whole decade older (I just finished Homicide last week!). And Hugh is always spectacular, even if this did feel like the pilot of a totally different show.

Yeah, Andre did a great job. I really felt for him at his father's bedside. Although we never did find out who that woman was that HOuse saw him with ... I'm going for a daughter or other female relative.

This episode felt like a standalone movie to me, in a lot of ways. I really love how they kept House's obnoxious personality traits in full view of the everyone, at least in the first part, before he got real and started to get better.

House FTMFW!! I loved the talent show and I totally thought House would start a band in the mental hospital. C'mon they had a piano player, House plays guitar, the one guy who slapped himself could be percussion and then they had the cello player...that's a pretty kick-ass band if you ask me.

That was pretty much my favorite episode ever. Different from all the rest and I just kept laughing at all of House's negativity and the insults he kept throwing at everyone.

I know, right? I love how they really took their time and explored the whole committed thing. It felt kinda like a movie.

And lol, yes, House was very much himself in this, wasn't he? I loved how he finally gave in and got real. I think it has to be one of my absolute favorites, too.

I started watching House last season but got bored of it but I really enjoyed this episode. I might stick around for the rest of the season.

And I think I tend to ask "IS IT (NEXT) THURSDAY YET?" mere seconds after each episode airs. Kripke and co. are such teases.
