Finally made it. Thanks for the heads-up! Dean with the mother of all colds is not something I want to miss out on. :)
I liked the tea scene... because I like tea and cookies and the cookies just sounded really good, and because Dean was all sniffly and turned on.
Sam picking rope fibres out of Dean's wounds where he'd been tied up, and then Sam in Proper Firing Stance As Drilled By John, were awesomely striking images, and then 15-year-old Sam calling John "Daddy" was such a great expression of his vulnerability/shakenness at having killed somebody.
My favourite though was the forehead feel at the end, with Dean all "No I'm good, really," while doing his best not to hack up his lungs, and John wisely not buying it.
