Castiel Recs (Gen, Slash & Het) and One Crossover Rec

More Castiel, anyone? Since we didn't see him this past week on our beloved show (sobs). All of the below, except the crossover, feature Castiel in one form or another. BTW, I apparently have a thing for fics in the 2nd person, because there are three of them recc'd here.

Sclerenchyma by tigriswolf (PG, Gen). 2nd person. Notes: the title equals "A supportive tissue of vascular plants, consisting of thick-walled, usually lignified cells. Sclerenchyma cells normally die upon reaching maturity but continue to fulfill their structural purpose in the plant." This is short and intimate, like a whispered confession.

teach me some melodious sonnet, sung by flaming tongues above by i_speak_tongue  (Unrated, Gen) 2nd person. SUMMARY: What Dean sees that night nearly destroys him. Simply marvelous. Dean's pain just leaks out of every line; the distance between he and Sam is palpable. If you only read one of these recs, make it this one.

and here we go, a dancing in circles by opheliahyde (PG-13, Castiel/Ruby) Summary: An angel and a demon walk into an empty motel room... Clever little story.

They Say It's All About To End by bloodnfire (R, Sam/Dean) 2nd person. Summary: God wants you to save the world. A striking piece, both beautiful and painful.

Paradise by hollycomb (PG-13, Dean/Castiel) 1st person. Summary: Years after the apocalypse, Dean gets saved again. Outsider POV about Dean's broken life without Sam. It's touching and heartbreaking, but ultimately satisfying.

Laying of Hands by seraphwings (Unrated, Dean/Castiel) A great Dean voice combined with Hurt!Dean and Angel sex? Yummy!

Supernatural/Dark Angel Crossover

(If I had a mom she'd say) Never Go Home With Strangers by dollydolittle (NC-17, Sam/Alec) Smooth writing, a great Alec voice, and all around cleverness make this a great read.
