Joe Flannigan has absurdly pointy ears, about which I totally have a thing for - I fell for him in the first ep, when he turned his head and smiled out one side of his mouth and looked more elf than human, and my brain said "oh, I could fall in love with this guy." And then he started being dorky and sarcastic and charming...
There's apparently some whole thing about people claiming Joe is actually an elf, and him denying it with "I am not a Kebler Elf!" (enjoys image of tiny John Sheppard baking me cookies).
For 160+pages of discussion on Joe's ears, see also: The Pointy Ears Thread . Because its SGA fandom, and we can obsess about anything (I'm sure there's a "Rodney's needlessly blue eyes" thread somewhere, and a "Ronon, how so hunky?" discussion).
Yep, CLONE Carson! It would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad. It's all i Kindred, mostly part 2. He honestly thought he was a POW for nearly two years, and that the people he trusted with his life couldn't be bothered to rescue him :(
Season 4 is all about themes of what it means to be human, what it means to be yourself, and it's all really interesting (at least to dorky aca-fans like me). And there's some really dark stuff (have you seen "Miller's Crossing" yet? - WOW! and Doppelganger!)
