I've seen these on Graham Norton (television's home for all things shockingly dirty. They showed Elijah Wood LotR Sam/Frodo fanart)
There are a lot of SGA people who have randomly shown up on SPN - Cadman (the girl who got stuck in Rodney's head and made him kiss Carson) was the flight attendant back in Phantom Traveler (she was in one ep of Heroes, too), and SG-1's original Wier (they recast for SGA) was the police officer in The Benders.
SGA is a good alternate to SPN - there's some angst, but mostly just crack (telepathic whale ghosts!). The occasionally get more serious -there's been a lot of themes about what it means the be human, etc..it's been interesting.
