Yesterday these things made me happy:

1. Going to church and thinking of/blessing all my LJ friends across the world during the meditation time.
2. Attending a Christmas tea party with my old professor, who entertained us with good conversation and live violin music.
3. Driving up the Pacific Coast Highway as the sun set over the ocean.
4. Seeing my dogs flopped out in the yard, enjoying the sun:( Dog pic )

Happy stuff today:

1. It has been TWO WHOLE DAYS since my best friend dysonrules and I IM'd. Today we chatted. We're a thousand miles apart physically, but I miss her like WHOA when we aren't in contact.
2. My daughter and I IM'd today, too. She's very busy with work and school, and we sometimes go days without contact. I'm looking forward to seeing her over Christmas.
3. I debated staying home instead of going to the OA meeting. I went, and shared my story. Several people commented that they valued what I had to say.
4. I went to the gym and sweated. I really like sweating. Either it gives me a feeling of accomplishment or I'm just a psycho like that.
5. Liz and Sara called to tell me THAT SARA ACTUALLY SAW JENSEN ACKLES IN PERSON at a screening of My Bloody Valentine in LA!!!!
