Fic Recs: Underappreciated Fics

What do I mean by "underappreciated" fics?  Great fics that don't have anywhere NEAR enough fawning comments posted to them.  So, my children, go forth and comment like there's no tomorrow.  Unless, of course, you don't agree with my judgment about what's great and what isn't .... Nah.  That isn't going to happen.  Right? (insert nervous laughter here)

Reality Check by philote_auctor.  PG. Gen. Summary: Dean just needs a minute to get his bearings. Missing scene for “What Is and What Should Never Be.”  With hugs!!!! And h/c.

Deep Waters by ruefulgirl. R. Wincest. Dude. Angst, hairwashing, and sex. Yeah. That's what I said.

Blame the Chinese Food by acostilow. NC-17. Wincest. Summary: "Dean wasn’t sure how they got here. He thought for a moment. It might have had something to do with the Chinese food." This is totally and completely HOT. As in, OMG my pants caught on fire hot. Yes, seriously. Make sure you have a fire extinguisher nearby while reading this. Or, failing that, a hubby or boyfriend/girlfriend to ravish afterward.

Only the Wind by tolakasa. PG-13. Gen. Summary: Future. Sam got his wish. Dean lived. But there's always a catch. Short future fic that is beautifully written. So beautifully written that you almost don't mind it when your heart is stomped all over and then ground into the dirt. Almost.
