You're made of win! Your kind words have really meant a lot to me - thank you!! And thank you for saying that the writing isn't shitty. Every time I'm in the middle of a story it just seems like the worst piece of crap ever. Then, afterward, I can usually appreciate it a little more. Writing is a cruel mistress!!
I am glad that the whole ordeal helped me to do some deep thinking about emotional issues in my life, and hopefully to come to terms with them and let them go. That tends to be a messy process, though. Like life in general, I suppose.
