I read this when you first posted it, but I didn't leave a comment because I didn't have an LJ account. If I had commented then, I would have told you that the story was great. And it's still great after a second reading. I loved the role-reversal, with Sam taking care of Dean, who, of course, fights to stay in control of the situation. Even while he's literally freezing to death. And the lone wolf analogy fit in perfectly.
Excellent job on your first fan fic, by the way! I'm actually working on my first fan fic story, so I found this very inspiring. Today was the perfect time for a reread of this story. :)
