Big Bang Whinging

twasadarkI just crossed the 10,000 word mark in my Big Bang and I couldn't be less enthused. I mean, I'm happy I managed to write 10K but I'm in some SERIOUS HATE with this story right now. Nothing about it is coming easy. The writing seems boring and pedantic and utterly uninspired. I have a smidgeon of a plot and some milestones and themes I want to reach, but slogging out the words I need every day has been HELL. dysonrules assures me that such hatred is just what happens with some stories and that I must simply muscle through until the bitter end, but I plan on doing that by complaining loudly to you, my unlucky flist.
By the way,calamitycrow is made of 57 kinds of awesome as she put up with my clueless nattering on IM the other day to help me with my plot. Or lack thereof.
So, in conclusion: I managed 292 words today through copious blood, sweat, and tears. My goal is to do 500 words tomorrow. With less blood, sweat, and tears ... and maybe a little fun?
Hopefully my next update will be filled with happiness and joy or at least less misery.
