Fic Recs: Gen Hurt/Comfort

twasadarkWell, got some good news and some bad news. Sorta, anyhow. The good news - I discovered a new author that I like (and on ff.net of all places!). The bad news: she is apparently obsessed with writing deathfics. I'm not real big on the whole deathfic thing, but she writes so compactly, so vividly that she's definitely worth braving these angst-ridden seas. Anyhoo, only one of the following is a deathfic, so that's something at least.
the breaking point of steel by katriel1987. Gen, rating: Teen. Summary: John and Dean in the three days after Sam left. Some hurt!Dean, plenty of angst. At around 1000 words, this fic is a short shot of adrenaline to the heart. The heart which will soon be jonesing to comfort poor emotionally disturbed Dean. Well, we all need a hobby, right? My fav from this author so far.
all alone he turns to stone by katriel1987. Gen, rating: Teen. Summary: Dean's spent most of his life getting left behind. Now it's his turn to do the leaving. Oh. This one hurts so good.
Dust by katriel1987. Gen, rating: Teen. Gen, rating: Teen. Summary: He's going to die, right here in the dust and thornbrush. Hurt!Dean. Not a deathfic. Vividly descriptive h/c. Poor wounded Dean. Great read when you want something quick.
