I loved this. I loved how Max's concern at hurt!Alec came through despite her snark, and how he picked up on it, and because of that, pushed through with telling her how he felt. I really liked the way she reacted, beating him and then just giving into her feelings, while he held her - it's just raw and real and so much like them! I could picture it perfectly. This was just a gorgeous piece, and so well written, as always. Great work!
