4.12 Episode Review
It was an okay episode. I liked the reveal with Charlie being a demon although I don't get how seeing the poster of him in the room made Sam and Dean suspect him, because HUH? But maybe I'm just dumb like that.
And now for the meat of my episode reaction, which of course occurred in the last 10 seconds of the ep:
Can someone PLEASE kill that bitch Ruby? Like NAO?

Also, the old men were sleeping together, right? that pause in the whole "he was more than my best friend.......he was like a brother" was the incest anvil of DOOM.
And Bones was EVEN STRANGER. Two eps - Undercover CIRCUS PERFORMERS and hockey playing: it's two of my favorite Due South fics, but on Bones!
ETA:pretty header is pretty!

Wrinkly old men are NOT ALLOWED to have sex.
And the fact that you brought that mental image into my head is VERY VERY BAD.
*sits in corner rocking and singing to self*
PS - I loved the Castiel header, but I just COULDN'T be away from DEAN any longer! (puts back of hand to forehead and swoons)

Dean....there's something about those lips surrounded by stubble that makes my brain not work right anymore. Bad, bad lesbian.

LOL!! Well, really he is WAY too pretty to be a man, right?

DEAN.
*adds my slobber to yours*
That sounds ... gross.
BTW, I totally would NOT have stabbed YOU, my bestest buddy EVAR, just to save the stupid world. Just so you know.

That part was quite excellent, I must admit!

For me, this was one of the best episodes from the entire season thus far. Granted, it wasn't up there with 'Lazarus Rising', but I enjoyed it immensely. Of course, that's probably because it featured magicians.
Umm... Yeah, I went through the same phase as Sammy. xD

Lazarus Rising was pretty damn epic. I don't know - maybe I'll like this ep more on the 2nd viewing. It did have some clever parts, and Sam's expression at the end was sooooooooooo woobie!! Poor Sammy!! Let me pet you better...

I also thought that it was good that Sam brought up the topic growing old, what I didn't like was the way he acted in the end!!!
And I totally agree: Ruby has to die! I really didn't like her in this episode

I hate ragging on actors, but this Ruby is so non-intimidating, I can't stand it. She isn't even slightly menacing. Gah!
Sammy, Sammy, Sammy. Nuff said.
Dean's eyes are sooo green in that header. My loins are responding in a totally inappropriate manner for the work place.

HAHAHA!! He DOES have that effect, doesn't he?

That alone made this episode win for me.
I love that not everyone is grateful for the boys saving them, because yes, doing the right thing can be really hard and people can regret it.
UGH. CAN THIS ACTRESS GTFO AND DIAF ALREADY. I am so sick of her wooden acting and lispy voice and this new no-balls Ruby.
She just grates so much in this show because everyone feels so real and so does their pain and then she comes in and you're *watching someone act* and it just stops the whole show.
Aw man, I was just about to say that there are some really skeevy gay-issues going on in Supernatural (no matter how much I loved Ghostfacers, it was pretty insulting, and the only lesbian on the show *killed people*, and now the big leatherbear? It wasn't even that funny) and then they had the adorable old man couple (yes I do firmly believe Charlie was in love with Jay) and even though one of them was evil it felt painful and sad and real.

Sammy's heading down a dangerous road, for sure. One that leads to getting punched by his brother...again.
