I'm motivating myself to continue work on my DA fic by posting a bunch more recs. I will add them to my Max/Alec master post and my Everything-But-Max/Alec master post too.

Glitch byminkmix (Gen, PG) Summary: Despite the lengths which he painstakingly took to explain the details, a girl would think the gist of his master plan would be crystal by the time he was through. That never seemed to be the case. Sweet story with a vulnerable Alec and a helpful Cindy.
Check byminkmix (Gen, PG) Summary: An evening in at the Cale residence. Cute and rather quirky, I like how it demonstrates the differences between X-5's and Ordinaries so perfectly.

Basically, you buy a microphone (one with headphones is really helpful - about $20, I think) and download the free software Audacity to make the recordings ... if you're on a PC. There's a really easy video tutorial about how to use Audacity. I can find it if you want.
