Somebody Splain This to Me

Why in the world do so many writers pair Sam and Gabriel?  Was there some connection between them that I missed?? Isn't Gabriel a shortypants?  I just can't get my head around the two of them ...

As for the rest of Supernatural, I'm YAY GLAD that hiatus is OVER, but I'm waiting for episodes that will blow me away. Last week's eppy wasn't that. It had its amusing moments, but there wasn't a whole lot of substance there. Ah, well. We'll see what next week brings.

I can't figure it out either. Maybe it's because when I looked at Richard Speight, the last thing I ever want to do is imagine him naked LOL. I could understand the Gabriel himself thing though, outside of the human body. Sam and Gabriel have been around each other a lot more than Sam and Dean, technically. Sam had 100 days alone with him watching Dean die over and over while Gabriel as the Trickster watched Sam. And then they had that big scene at the climax of Mystery Spot. It could be an interesting dynamic. But Richard is just...not sexual at all.


Yeah, last week was meh. I enjoyed it because it was entertaining (until the last 10ish minutes when it was so heavy handed and annoying I wanted to hit it with a stick). I'm hoping for a little more POW in the coming weeks as the season (series?) starts to wind down.

LOL about envisioning Richard Speight naked. Yeah, I'm totally with you on that one. I figured that it was writers just being desperate to pair Sam with someone--anyone--since Dean is now paired with Castiel a lot, but the consensus seems to be that it's a crack pairing.

I'm hopeful that Show is going to be a bit more intense in coming weeks as well. If nothing else it's always full of the pretty!
