4.12 Episode Review

It was an okay episode. I liked the reveal with Charlie being a demon although I don't get how seeing the poster of him in the room made Sam and Dean suspect him, because HUH? But maybe I'm just dumb like that.

And now for the meat of my episode reaction, which of course occurred in the last 10 seconds of the ep:

SAMMY NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Can someone PLEASE kill that bitch Ruby? Like NAO?

I think my brain got to S&M man and Dean and has yet to have a coherent thought since. That was ACTUALLY on my television, right? 'Cause I've got an overly vivid imagination sometimes, and the whole reality line gets a bit blurry....

Also, the old men were sleeping together, right? that pause in the whole "he was more than my best friend.......he was like a brother" was the incest anvil of DOOM.

And Bones was EVEN STRANGER. Two eps - Undercover CIRCUS PERFORMERS and hockey playing: it's two of my favorite Due South fics, but on Bones!

ETA:pretty header is pretty!

Okay, I have to freaking say I loved the "what's your safe word" bit. And the fact that I really couldn't see any way for Dean to get out of there other than... you know.

Bottoming.

HAHAHAHA!

Charlie wasn't a demon, he was a warlock. And the reason Dean recognized him was because of the scar on his forehead.

For me, this was one of the best episodes from the entire season thus far. Granted, it wasn't up there with 'Lazarus Rising', but I enjoyed it immensely. Of course, that's probably because it featured magicians.

Umm... Yeah, I went through the same phase as Sammy. xD

I liked this episode a lot more than the one before that.
I also thought that it was good that Sam brought up the topic growing old, what I didn't like was the way he acted in the end!!!
And I totally agree: Ruby has to die! I really didn't like her in this episode

I am unbelievably angry with Sam.

I really liked the episode. I thought the guest casting was amazing. I loved those old guys!

I hate ragging on actors, but this Ruby is so non-intimidating, I can't stand it. She isn't even slightly menacing. Gah!

Sammy, Sammy, Sammy. Nuff said.

Dean's eyes are sooo green in that header. My loins are responding in a totally inappropriate manner for the work place.

BARRY MOTHERFUCKING BOSTWICK.
That alone made this episode win for me.

I love that not everyone is grateful for the boys saving them, because yes, doing the right thing can be really hard and people can regret it.

UGH. CAN THIS ACTRESS GTFO AND DIAF ALREADY. I am so sick of her wooden acting and lispy voice and this new no-balls Ruby.
She just grates so much in this show because everyone feels so real and so does their pain and then she comes in and you're *watching someone act* and it just stops the whole show.

Aw man, I was just about to say that there are some really skeevy gay-issues going on in Supernatural (no matter how much I loved Ghostfacers, it was pretty insulting, and the only lesbian on the show *killed people*, and now the big leatherbear? It wasn't even that funny) and then they had the adorable old man couple (yes I do firmly believe Charlie was in love with Jay) and even though one of them was evil it felt painful and sad and real.

Yeah, I had a similar 'huh?' moment.

Sammy's heading down a dangerous road, for sure. One that leads to getting punched by his brother...again.
