I'm happy today! Why? I dunno.  The sun is shining and one of my freelance clients wants me to do more work for him - it's writing lesson plans for graphic novels.  Sweet gig!  Except for the rather measly pay, but oh well, lol.  Some quick happies:

pdragon76 took the completely UNevil prompt of Dean and peanut butter: bosom companions and wrote a delightful drabble for my birthday over THISAWAY.  Go, read, and flail! 

Also, if you're a writer (of anything, including screenplays, stories, poems, essays, grocery lists), please hop over and check out our new comm - thedailywriter .  I'm so pleased by how well we are kicking ass and taking names (in a completely positive, life-affirming way, of course) over there.  Everyone's excitement has really energized me and helped me to increase my output. Yay!! 

And OMG!!! A little more than a week and SUPERNATURAL WILL BE BACK ON!!!!!!!!! *dies of the happy*

The song fits how I was feeling yesterday. It just seemed like the people in my class are idiots and I wished they would just shut up and let the prof talk. Then he was "You should join study groups and I was like "Yeah right. These people are MORONS!" I still think that, though.

Hey, I had to take a couple of stray dogs down to the county animal shelter today and I asked them about the home visits and whatnot for adopting an animal. They said you probably talked to the SPCA, which is a different organization. The county has shelters all over the place, where all you do is go in, pick out a critter, pay the $40, and take them home. So if you want, I can take you over there and you can see if you can find anything.

The animal shelter I went to actually has a lot of bunnies, too!
