Happy Meme - Day 8

Awww, it's the last day of the happy meme. *pouts*  This was fun. 

My happy today was that I got a visit from my friend Robin. She's an amazing person who I met at work about 8 years ago. Since then she went to Mozambique to do 2 years in the Peace Corps. And now she's getting her master's in nursing at Johns Hopkins. Friends are awesome.  :-)

In other news, it's frickin COLD here.  I had to put blankets on my bird cages!!

We're driving on Tuesday, coming back on Saturday. You're leaving tomorrow, right? You must be excited!

Yep I leave tomorrow early. I have to leave here at 5 AM for my 9 AM flight. Taking the subway to Union Station and then taking a bus to LAX. I'm very excited.

You guys are driving? Yikes! I hope the weather is good for you guys.
