Somebody Splain This to Me

Why in the world do so many writers pair Sam and Gabriel?  Was there some connection between them that I missed?? Isn't Gabriel a shortypants?  I just can't get my head around the two of them ...

As for the rest of Supernatural, I'm YAY GLAD that hiatus is OVER, but I'm waiting for episodes that will blow me away. Last week's eppy wasn't that. It had its amusing moments, but there wasn't a whole lot of substance there. Ah, well. We'll see what next week brings.

Yeah, I kinda figured that people were just so desperate to pair Sam with someone that they picked Gabriel just because he exists ... now that Ruby bit the dust.

You're not a Dean/Cas fan? I must admit that I've been reading that more and more lately. Yummy!

I have major issues with Cas/anyone. I don't like the whole angel storyline, though I've become resigned to it's existence, and I don't much like Cas either (I could bore you with the details at great length, but I'll have mercy lol). And although I don't mind non-con or dub-con, the whole Jimmy situation squicks me, esp. the idea of Sam or Dean being involved with it.
And, of course, Dean/Cas interferes with Sam/Dean, which is what should be occupying most of Dean's time anyway lol.
