It's all about me ... hey hey hey uh huh

Since I've been friended lately (yay!) and because I'm sure the rest of you just can't get enough of me (bwa ha ha!!) ... I'm on TWITTER as twasadark where I attempt to amuse you with updates from my wild and crazy life (like when I happen to catch my birds getting busy with one another.).  Our online publishing company also has a twitter account under xcpublishing.  We've been publishing a line from each chapter of our free online fantasy novel The Gauntlet Thrown here (btw, I wonder whether this is intriguing or just annoying? If you can drop me a line about that sometime I'd appreciate it.)

And just to change subjects without notice, I'm really digging Audioslave. I have three of their songs on my Zune - Gasoline, Like a Stone, and I Am the Highway, all of which I love.  Can anyone rec other Audioslave songs I might like, or maybe an album of theirs that is the better than the others?

I'm on the last ep of S2 of Dark Angel.  I did go ahead and watch all of S1 despite my vow not to.  It got less boring after the first disc, I thought.  And there was Zack to look at.  He's not as good as Alec, but then again, who is?  And speaking of Alec, I find it very unsatisfying the way they left his character just sort of fizzle out during the series finale.  Sigh.  Oh, well.  I guess that's what fanfic is for, right?  The absolute worst episode ever has to be Boo, the Halloween episode.  It was pretty dang painful.

Be Yourself. It's my favorite Audioslave. Like a Stone is 2nd. *g*

Isn't the whole "Alec can't help save the day" thing Michael Weatherly's fault? I know he had a major hate-on for Jensen because more people liked Alec than Logan in S2. I know there's that famous pool story where he made the writers change the scene so that Logan could win. There are also those reports that he made them cut Jensen's lines. I swear I heard that he made the writers change it so that Logan got to kick ass while Alec was kind of a second banana getting his ass beat in "Freak Nation."

Either way, Alec >>> All those other bitches.

*High fives*

Boo was totally painful to watch.

He's not as good as Alec, but then again, who is?

Ben??? :P

Heya baby
Alec's character was left out in some episodes intentionally to satisfy Mr Micheal Weatherly who didn't want Alec's charm to overshadow him & who was really mean to Jensen during the shooting of Dark Angel
*slaps him*
Your banner is just drool worthy, GUH

Okay, randomly drive-by stalking today. It's interesting that you find S1 DA boring. I adored it while it was airing, partly because I bought the Max/Logan ship that later would creep me out, but mostly for the butt-kicking female lead, the sheer science fictiony goodness of it all, and the way they played the normal-people storylines against the craziness of Max' hidden life. (And then I go and love Art Attack because it inverts that last, with the Jam Pony crew playing with gun-toting criminals while the crime-fighting team attend a family party.)

I miss Zack and his uber-intense mission to protect his family contrasted against Max's to connect with her family. (I think I kinda love Dean Winchester because he embodies both.) Zack's continued existence is one of the few SF elements I enjoyed in the second season, and I think it's fun that there's this canon amnesia to play with.

I wish we'd seen more diversity in the X5 guys, but I guess that would have meant no Jensen doubled, so I don't wish it too loudly.

Season 2 I often find tedious. I tend to watch it for Joshua, Alec, and the sake of completeness. I prefer to pretend that Boo never happened, though. I mean, since when does Max even fall asleep when she's not either going into heat or bleeding out?

I think we're supposed to understand that Alec is a LOT more hurt in the finale than he lets on, like maybe the bullet hit something important. (Shattered bone? Major nerve bundle? Couldn't have been an arterial hit, or we'd have seen a lot more red.) He plays the injury down when Max asks about it, but he'd been holding it (keeping pressure? cradling the hurt?), where in Gill Girl he totally ignored that earlier wound until he needed it as an excuse to leave. In the fight with the Familiar, he reacts noticeably when she gets a hit on his arm. And then as somebody above mentioned, Joshua later helps him out of the van. How hurt does an X5 have to be to need help with a half meter jump?

. . . not that I've thought about this or anything.
