This is a story I didn't know I needed to read until I opened up the link and started reading it. I love how you captured the texture of the period and of the locales. And I love your characters, the way they unfold and the paths they take through the story.

But I especially love your use of language. It's beautiful, so evocative and compelling. This is a fantastic story and if I had the ability I would make the entirety of fandom read it.
