Oh, family ....

.... so there are ex-girlfriends surfacing and people losing their jobs and other people getting transfusions and my pregnant daughter is hysterical and MY FAMILY IS INSANE.

Sigh.

That's on my husband's side. Things are pretty normal on my side of the family. Normal being that my brother is drunk and my parents are the same bickering, physically decaying specimens they've always been.

My daughter is at the epicenter of today's drama, unsurprisingly. She's angry and hysterical and isn't going to talk to her family ever again and on and on. I know a big part of it is just being pregnant, and the boyfriend and boyfriend's family situation is not ideal either. It would be really nice if she would come to her senses sooner rather than later but in the meantime it's rough supporting someone who isn't thinking clearly ...

My husband is still upset, but he seems to be doing better than he was, so thank heavens for small favors. :-)
